Doñana
Doñana is a protected natural area located in the southwest of Andalusia that has 116.487 hectares, that include both the national park and the natural park of Doñana. Space characterized by housing numerous species of birds and mammals, among them fallow deer, the deer and the Iberian lynx. This excursion offers visitors to know in depth the area of the natural and national park (with limited access to motor vehicles) seated comfortably in a 4 × 4, led by a guide specialized in the environment.
The tour begins departing from Seville city towards the town of Coria of the River, on the banks of the Guadalquivir river, door of the Doñana wetland. From there, the group will head north to the river marshes, where the largest white stork colony in Europe is located and where visitors will be able to observe thousands of birds in their natural habitat. Every year, marshes housing approximately 200.000 individuals over 300 bird species,what makes them the most prestigious natural space on the continent. The minimal island. Continuing the tour until you reach the northern area of the Doñana National Park, followed by the village of El Rocio, characterized by having a typical atmosphere of the Wild West, with white houses and sandy streets run by horses and people on foot. Where the group will go to know the famous Sanctuary of Our Lady of Rocío, popularly known as the hermitage of El Rocío.
El grupo descubrirá, accompanied by the guide, the beautiful palace and the trails of the Doñana National Park, next to the La Rocina stream. A tour suitable for all audiences. Likewise, the beach of the town of Matalascañas will be visited, where visitors will see the largest dune system in the country. further, if the weather is good,they can enjoy a refreshing swim on the beach itself. Finally, on the way back to Seville and taking advantage of the sunset, the guide will accompany the clients to the wooded area of the national park to be able to see some of the large mammals that inhabit the area, seated comfortably from the 4 × 4.
